Keter
The first Sefirah is known as Keter, or the Crown. It’s represented by the number one, and the color white, or translucent white. This Sefirah is symbolic of the level that is closest to the Light of the Creator, and it is the most unknowable and sublime. Keter denotes the Will of G-d, and is the seed of every concept or thought. It also symbolizes the Ohr Eyn Sof, or the Light of Nothingness, a formless “nothing” that signifies absolute potential. It is from here that everything has its source, and here from which all things derive, including all of the Sefirot. It’s said that Keter includes all of the subsequent Sefirot. The body part of the human being that best embodies this Sefirah is the crown of the head.
